"The place is beautiful and the staff is all smiles so I believe that this would be a case of " Don't judge a book by its cover". I met with Bethany for a consultation, called several days later and made an appointment. Simple enough, right? NOT so much ! But I made notes at the consultation but misplaced them. I knew that Bethany had the same notes and since I pass the spa A FEW TIMES every day on the way to work , I walked in to the spa instead of calling, to look at the notes. Well, the receptionist Serena who I guess is way too young to understand the concept of a 'walk in", either took it in offense or I must have bothered her , ( you were sitting there doing nothing, no one in the room, no one on the phone) and in addition I made the mistake of sharing the fact that I work part time and receive social security and don't have unlimited funds to spend on treatments each and every time I come in, as most women do, if they are young- with their dad's credit card or if they are older, with their husband's. When I have some extra cash, I come in and get a treatment accordingly. I guess, this did not sound sophisticated enough for Serena and she decided all on her own that this constitutes untrustworthiness and went on to share the above information with Bethany. Next thing I know..... Bethany telling me that she and I are not a good fit. Seriously ? Do you know me more or less than any other woman who comes in for a consult ? But just to humor my self ..... Why I ask? The answer... you always walk in.... and.... I am basically not to be trusted because I can't really do everything in one sitting.... I asked too many questions when I came in wanting to see my notes. Well, you get the idea, right? Since the spa is open 3 days a week only, it is not worth it for them to take me as I don't do full treatments, which translates to ....taking only high volume clients. Bethany denied this of course, but it was so clear this is precisely what was going on. Well, from Serena I wouldn't expect much, but from you, Bethany it's a shame that you couldn't have a civil conversation with me to clarify what the reasons for me walking in instead of calling, and why was it necessary for me to get the notes and make an intelligent decision on your own.... Instead, you listened to a hearsay from someone whom I had to explain to what I needed several times and she still didn't get it . The owner of the spa advertises that the placement provides inner health and peacefulness and a staff that takes care of its clients. It is sad to say , but he needs to know that this is false advertising. Sad, very sad."
