"It's a small operation, so expect 35-45 minutes wait for them to make a pizza from scratch. The building is sketchy with vagrants and cigar/weed smokers lounging around, so it's not family friendly, but at the same time I credit the owner of this restaurant for trying."

"A North San Juan treat! Love their most every item on the menu but particularly love their Greek Salad, the crust on the pizza and calzones! Every pizza option at Mama's Pizzeria is yummy. Now they have even added extra yummy options with merging with Papas Taqueria ! Now offering street tacos, enchiladas, burritos, and more! Very reasonably priced, air conditio place with a table or 2 inside and a table outside. Very rustic artsy feel. With a neat little thrift store down the sidewalk with feel good music playing. Limited parking in front of pizzeria but nice parking lot across the street. Great attentive polite service by girl named Pema and another employee. We ordered take out and got burrito , street tacos , Greek Salad and slice of cheese pizza. We really loved the Burrito. Very very tasty. Liked it more than the tacos. I really liked the sturdy recyclable and biodegradable take out containers . Leak proof and stayed closed. Will most definitely be back !"
