"I would not recommend buying a formal dress from here, we were told that the dress that we Purchased If we got a 3 1/2 inch heel, we would not have to alter it. Unfortunately, that is not the case and it cannot be hemmed at the bottom. It Has to be taken up from the top of dress which would cost me another hundred dollars on top of $175 dress. Im not very happy. I contacted them To give me any type of refund or store credit, they are refusing For any type of refund even though their Employee stated we would not have to do any alterations. I would go elsewhere !"
"Love love love this store! To be honest, I normally can’t afford to buy new clothing for myself. I was shopping for Christmas gifts and happened upon Anika’s shop. Great prices, everything in the store is cool! Went back a second time for birthday gifts and will go back in 2 weeks for a gift for myself. Yes, I love the store….. Anika is warm and friendly, it’s refreshing to chat in person with locals business owners and get to know her. My mom loves her sweater!"
"Normally I would never spend more than $30 on a dress (yes, I am a very frugal shopper) However, this store is an exception. For people who like deals, there are days where the store has amazing sales, such as any 2 items for $20 or $30. What makes paying full price worth it though? Glad you asked. The team here is spectacular and will go out of their way to help find you what you’re looking for. For example, I had a wedding to attend, less than 2 weeks away, and due to some unforeseen circumstances I had to find a long garment that was also suitable for an outdoor wedding in summer. Luckily, one of the awesome team members picked dresses, jumpsuits, and so much more. He went above and beyond. Basically, if you want a stylist to help you while you shop at reasonable prices, go to Anika Burke. All the dresses I tried on ranged from $60-$80 and they were all hand picked for me. Great deal and terrific experience!"
"Obsessed. Stopped at the boutique hoping to find a formal dress for my daughter and left with a stunning little red number, two pretty little bralets, a flowing spring top and an amazing purse I couldn’t take my eyes off of. From the moment we walked in, I knew this boutique was going to be something special. Anika and her team were fun, welcoming, super helpful and created a wonderful shopping experience. Their vibe was everything. She has the cutest selections of everyday wear, accessories, home goods and beautiful formal wear. I will definitely be back. My daughter was equally as pleased and can’t wait to return and spend more of moms money on a few more cute outfits"
"I am really disappointed to write this review, and even more disappointed in this establishment. I do my best to shop small, but in this case, I will never give them my business again and I encourage all who read this to follow suit. My mom purchased my sister and I some items for Christmas on December 21. The first bracelet she gave me was not comfortable so she exchanged it on December 28 for a wrap bracelet that was defective and did not fit an average size female wrist. We went to the store in early January to exchange it and they were closed due to Covid. I sent them a text message on January 14 because they don't answer their phone and the voice message states to text them. I let them know about the defective bracelet and that we attempted to come in but that the shop was closed. I went on to explain that we have Covid and asked if I could come in a few weeks to exchange it. No reply. So I texted again the following day. On January 25, someone finally responded stating that we needed to come in to address the issue. Fine with me- I'll be in once we are no longer dealing with Covid because that's what you do in a pandemic, right? Fast forward to today, February 12. I explained the situation and the store owner found the transaction on their computer. The item I wanted to return was still stocked in the store, unused, and had tags attached. The owner twisted herself into a pretzel to explain "her side", which was: the original purchase was so long ago and had been bought with store credit so they couldn't do anything. She stated they extended their return policy because of their covid closure, however, because of our covid situation and quarantine, I was unable to come in. Which is why I texted them in the first place! Later in the day, my mom even tried to exchange the bracelet since she was the one who spent 100's of dollars there over Christmas and was extremely frustrated with their response. She was unfortunately treated by the owner with the same stubborn and rude demeanor. As a small business owner myself, I know how important it is to treat your customers with fairness, respect and understanding. Especially in unprecedented times, extending a return policy for an unused and defective item is how you keep customers and keep a good name for yourself in a very small community. As our exchange ended, I let the owner know to keep an eye out for an online review from me. So here it is, and I hope this is worth the $40 to you."
