"We stopped by Good Bones for lunch during our visit to Mendocino from Los Angeles. We shared the chicken rice bowl, the chicken soup, the turkey sandwich and a chocolate chip cookie. We loved everything!! Not only was the food comforting and delicious, the owner, Myles, was extremely welcoming and shared some great tips for the rest of our trip - hiking as well as another new restaurant down the road (Maritime Cafe). We enjoyed our time so much we decided to go back a second time for a concert that evening. Vibe was great and there was a mix of both locals and visitors. Overall, great spot and we’ll be back!"

"Came in late on a Friday and was so happy that they were still open and willing to take us for dinner. As it turns out every thing closes pretty early in this area. We had the fish, the chickpeas, and the spaghetti. And it was all fantastic. Very hip vibe and hope to come back again! I would recommend bringing your own wine and doing a corkage fee though. Strangely they only had one local red and it was not only pricy but really not good. But this is solvable and the food was so good don’t let it deter you!"

"Had a truly incredible anniversary dinner at Good Bones. Top quality ingredients, creativity, heart, execution and service. It feels like the coolest person you know is having a dinner party and you’re lucky enough to be invited. The sourdough rivals that of Bell’s in Los Alamos- it’s that good! The black cod was perfection. The duck wings were fantastic, but that slaw that accompanied it- we couldn’t get enough! Llano Seco pork chop- only the best. Nicely curated natural wine selection. I’m really excited to follow this restaurant along its journey and see all of the accolades they will undoubtedly earn."

"We stumbled on this gem while looking for something to eat late on a Sunday night and wow was it amazing. Tucked in an renovated building on a quiet street, this is a must visit. The food was excellent - fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The staff were kind and attentive, and the atmosphere felt like we had just walked into a friends home for dinner. Just minutes from downtown Mendocino, this is a must stop for a great evening."
