"Not actually trails. Dry poison oak lines road. In winter it's a mud pit and in the summer so dry and hot. The place is loaded with nats that fly into your eyes for any bit of moisture. I wouldn't send my enemy there."
"Great place to hike/walk. It's a reasonable distance looping up and back down. It's peaceful and serene here on a nice sunny day."
"Very cool place to visit. Took a steam train ride up the mountain to look at the redwoods. The conductor was very informative and provided a few laughs. Train was a little bumpy as expected since it was over 100 years old. Great experience."
"Long expensive train ride for very little."
"No bears in the last 150 years despite the name. Nice picnic area, some interesting views and lots of trees. Stopped here briefly, but well worth it."
