"Baba and his staff are incredible. I’ve never had braided styles last so long, look amazing and not damage my hair. They are so helpful and the work is quality! Also love that they can do anything."
"I went to this place for what I thought was an E Z braid job and I had several pics. I called to make appt and spoke with the owner Babacor. There were two ladies braiding when I got there and they asked to see a pic of the style I wanted. I wanted my hair braided to come together at the back of my head to clip on a braided ponytail extension. They asked questions and then called Babacar for more explanation because I had sent him a picture b4 coming. I sat quietly while thinking to myself how could anybody make such a big deal about a braid-up hairdo when I was simply going to add a fake hair piece to it. It was weird and I should have left then. So one of the ladies starts to braid my hair. Meanwhile talking to Babacar on the phone.. then after about 15 minutes she stops braiding my hair and says we are going to wait for Babacar to come in. Very very strange.! I ask if there is a problem she says we will wait for Babacar. Hmmmmmm....I am not understanding any of this but I'm in the chair now so I feel I need to stay. I continued to be cordial... never experienced anything like this everrr. Mr. B comes in like he is the king and looks at the pic I sent him and a couple of others.. he spoke with the lady who is supposedly his sister and they both started braiding my hair speaking in their native African language. No tellingwhat they were saying about me. I read another review where the customer said they talk about the clients in their language. I do believe she is right on about that. Most of the time Babacar was.on the phone. Finally out of the chair I see and realize my hair looks nothing like the pics I showed them. The other braider started laughing, she new it was a messy job. I paid them (reluctantly) and left. I wanted and started to say something but I knew that would go all the way left. Couldn't wait to get home and cut that mess out of my hair. I call that very unprofessional because a true professional who cares about his or her business does everything to make sure they fulfill the client's wishes. In my case, they just did not care. Never ever will I go to this place. HORRIBLE JOB! Stay away from this place, there are so any other places to go - sorry I chose this one. Live and learn."
"These are some gifted braiders. I have been coming for 3 years after my hair fell put from dying it platinum. It was an inch long. Now its fully grown back and I still stay in braids. IM HOOKED. Everytime I try another shop or in someone's living room I regret it. Its worth the money and the time it takes to be so fly;)"
