"***AVOID THIS OFFICE-SCAM-SCAM***Kelly the office manager is like a snake oil sale man***I rarely leave reviews but wanted to inform all those that base their dental picks on reviews. PLEASE READ, save yourself the headache and money. I had a toothache at the end of last year and desperately needed a solution. I read all the negative reviews but chose to ignore because the office was close to home and I was in pain. It was an on going 5+ month ordeal with the office lying to my insurance company saying they sent a copy of the x-ray to me. From countless hours on the phone - holding my x-ray hostage, so I can't get estimates nor treatments anywhere else. They sent me to a specialist who works directly with their office and because I respectfully declined the treatment that day. They insist that I pay half of $7500 the cost of the dental implant, in order to hold my appt for the following week. Kelly who works at both locations said that's our office policy since the specialist only works a few days a month ... absolutely absurd!! After my treatment, my insurance sent me the invoice which clearly shows that the office overcharged me $1200 but I knew I would never see the reimbursement check from the office. There's a reason for reviews, this is our way to voice and inform others."

"They would have to do a major and sudden 180 for me to understand these 1 star reviews. My experience was very stressful but very positive. Going to a dentist is expensive and painful, that's just an unfortunate truth of the system we're in. I can't really afford the work I need. That's also facts. But that's not on individual offices, it's on our healthcare system devaluing dental health (despite its holistic connection to our physical and mental health). It's on how insurance chooses what is and is not covered. I started crying when I was alone in the room, between hearing my overall bill and realizing how much work I definitely needed. Kelly made everything so much easier and more palatable, she comforted me, she saw truths I wasn't saying and treated me with kindness, grace, and warmth. In fact, everyone's "bedside manner" was immaculate and different from the others. Everyone was genuine and helpful. This experience took a lot out of me. It was stressful because major dental work is stressful. It would have been FAR MORE stressful literally anywhere else. The crew at MDC made the process so much better than anywhere I've been. Definitely recommend."
