"One of our favorite trails in the area here, as it’s more low key and less populated. It also connects to the creek trail which is beautiful."
"A very nice, short hike with only a couple feet of elevation change to go across a couple bridges. It is 0.6 miles out and 0.6 miles back if you come straight back (1.2 miles total), you can jump on the Mill Creek Trail which will put you out on the road and then walk back to where you parked, which is probably also 1.2 miles total. This trail is not ADA accessible. In the winter you should wear shoes that can make it through some puddles and mud. It is a great hike for bringing children though due to how easy it is. The trail is a very flat walk through some fantastic redwoods and plenty of ferns, if you go past the Mill Creek Trail sign and do the last 0.1 miles of there's a fallen tree you can actually climb into right on the path. The trail gets a little smaller after the sign, and much smaller and steeper if you go all the way down to the river where it dead ends. In terms of parking there's 2-3 spots along the road and then if you go down to the Boy Scout Tree trailhead there is more room there as well."
"Love this trail. A must see place to experience in the winter during the rainy months while the mosses are bright and happy. Hope this place is around for year so many future generations can experience the beauty of the old growth forest"
