"An out and back loop, an easy hike with quite a few steps to climb. Took us ~ 60mins to finish since we stopped quite a bit for taking photos. A beautiful hike. The road to this place is a dirt road with quite a few tight spots. Parking was available on the side of the road."
"This review is for Grove Of Titans which was a ~1.7 miles round trip that took ~45 minutes to complete. Grove Of Titans was one of the redwood trails worth hiking near Crescent City. Trail was mostly flat with minor elevation changes. Stunning views from beginning to end! Heavy mosquito presence in the evening. Required to drive on ~2.7 miles of dirt road with some tight squeezes between the redwoods. Short video of the hike for those interested! https://youtu.be/jUm89oa56Es"
"Beautiful easy trail to see the redwoods. Great for beginner hikers and small children. This trail is about 2 miles out and back and has a 230 ft elevation gain through out. The trees are amazing to see and take in and the vegetation pulls the whole experience together."
"This is a great out and back trail. Its only about 1.7 miles with roughly 130 feet of elevation. The treesin this section are considered the ancients. Some of them dating back 2000-3000 years. The road in, Howland Hill Rd., is a great scenic drive. You are in tight with the behemoths on a curvy, visually interesting drive. Take your time and enjoy the sights around you. The end of the titans grove is a great place to see banana slugs as well! Highly recommended!"
"If this is not something you’ve witnessed before in real life it’s a must especially if you’re within 100 miles. These trees feel much bigger in person and if they look big in pictures double their big-ness if you’re live and in person. I brought my small dog but not sure if dogs are allowed or not. We had no issues. It started getting dark so we didn’t finish the trail but there’s giant trees"
