"Definitely a 5 star trail. Beautiful! and even on a Sunday in July not so crowded that we couldn't find a parking pull out easily. It's a little steep in areas, but amongst these giants is a kind of quiet that brings to mind the phrase "deafening silence" making the climb worth the exertion. Many lightning struck trees with the center burned out are along the path. We stood inside a few and took photos. Definitely recommended!"
"Never seen anything before. Unbelievable high trees those redwoods. Go see !"
"Hidden gem of a trail - quiet and beautiful. The main Leiffer trail is about 1 mile of flat terrain. It connects two trailheads on the west side of Walker Road, so you can park at either one. There is also a rugged side loop for adventurers."
"Phenomenal trail. The farthest Loops are somewhat steep but reward with solitude and amazing growth and storytelling of ancient redwood families. Very different feel than those more southern in California. Lovely - go down the dirt track for a few hundred feet past the pavement and you’ll be rewarded with a great hike. Plan to spend 1-2 hours here easy."
