Welcome to Calvary Presbyterian Church, a historic place of worship located at 5 Brighton Avenue, Bolinas, California. Nestled right at the entrance to downtown Bolinas, our iconic white church with its distinctive bell tower has been a spiritual home for over a century, serving early pioneer families and continuing to welcome congregants today.

Our services are held every Sunday at 11:15 a.m., and we warmly invite singles, families, local residents, visitors to Bolinas, surfers, and beachgoers to join us in fellowship and worship. Under the guidance of "Pastor Ellen," originally from North Carolina and a graduate of the San Francisco Theological Seminary, we explore timeless biblical teachings and their relevance in today's world. Pastor Ellen, who transitioned from a successful business career to ministry, brings rich experience from her previous service in churches across New Jersey and Maryland.

At Calvary Presbyterian, we delve into thought-provoking questions: How did the world appear 2,000 years ago? How do ancient writings and lessons resonate with modern life? What guidance does the Bible offer, and how can we find common ground within our diverse personal histories? Pastor Ellen encourages us to consider what it means to be a Christian, how we can serve our community and the world, and how we can nurture a spirit of forgiveness and love.
