Nestled in the heart of Cambria, California, Greenspace's Strawberry Canyon is a serene park dedicated to preserving the natural beauty and ecological diversity of the North Coast area of San Luis Obispo County—a true national treasure. Located at 1516-1600 Burton Drive, our park is a testament to nature conservation and community enrichment.

Spanning 13.35 acres, Strawberry Canyon is a recent addition to our ongoing efforts to protect and enhance the region's unique forest ecology and cultural resources. This beautiful expanse offers the exciting potential of a new trail that will connect Lodge Hill to the coastal area near Camp Ocean Pines, providing a unique opportunity for community recreation and exploration.

For over 30 years, Greenspace - The Cambria Land Trust has been committed to acquiring and preserving properties in the Cambria area. Our mission extends beyond land management; we are passionate about educating the public and advocating for environmental issues that impact our community.

Our park is home to the rare Monterey pines, one of only five native stands remaining globally. These majestic trees not only add beauty and shade to our surroundings but also provide essential food and shelter for local wildlife. Sadly, nearly half of these trees have been lost due to development, disease, and infestations. You can help reverse this trend by planting a Greenspace Cambria pine seedling, grown from seeds collected right here in our community.
