"I really want to complain about the seals just lounging about the beach... But that's what seals do. It was really fun to watch them sleep on the beach and throw sand on themselves. I didn't get a picture of the seals only the friendly squirrel!"

"Visiting in mid-May, the beach was mainly populated by female and sub-adult male elephant seals. The females were resting and the sub-adult males were practising their fighting skills and going for a swim. We were lucky enough to meet Will, a docent who was friendly and informative, giving us a greater insight into these regular visitors to the California coast. The squirrels were racing around near the carpark, proving to be at the opposite end of the scale in size and their level of activity to the elephant seals."

"This place was shared to us by Mike at a restaurant called Linn's of Cambria. I cannot thank him enough. The food and service were oustanding. The locationhe shared for the seals is a hidden local spot just past the crowded noisy well known elephant seals tourist trap. We were able to get very close... safely and no interruptions from tourists. The parking nearly empty. It was like being alone with just us and the seals. My whole family loved it."
