"I needed storage for less than a month. I got my unit over the phone from a sweet lady in NEW ORLEANS named Lucy. The process was automated and easy, and Lucy walked me through places where I had questions. The unit was ready for me with a FREE padlock... and on day two, all the units doors and hallways were painted a sharp-looking white... very clean look! A+"

"Extra space storage on Laurel St in Ventura is the best place to keep your things during a transition. They have all the sizes of rooms, lots of drive ups and their security is the best! They really pay attention to what is going on around the property and make sure everything is secure. They are also compassionate and patient when their customers are dealing with stressful situations. I was very grateful for the help they gave me when my storage keys were stolen. I will use this location every time I need storage! This is my second occasion to be a customer there."

"Would say good things about this place but I’ve been there a whole 3 months and they just increased my rent $100, which is 33% - don’t know about you all, but I didn’t get a 33% raise in 3 months so not sure why these guys do. When I called I got hung up on after I cut off the person giving my a lecture about how it’s a prime location in downtown Ventura - I mean, ok, but, I got it for the PRICE I SIGNED UP FOR, not for the ocean view my boxed can see. (Side note: it totally wasn’t that dudes fault, I feel bad he was just doing his job, but also, corporate should probably hire people who can handle someone calling about a 33% cost increase, or pay them enough to make it worth their time by taking care of them.) Extra Space will deceive you, be prepared! Corporate America is out of control. Is this rant-y, yes, sure. But 33% increase after 3 months is fact even if you don’t like my rant, so be aware and talk to a person about your rates! UPDATE: They left me a note saying my business is important and they would like me to call them. But the entire reason I wrote this review is because I called them and it was pretty awful."

"My family had an easy and great experience with this business. Even to stop the renting process was actually very easy. The people here were very friendly and welcoming. I’d definitely recommend this place to store your valuables and I myself would come back again when needing more room for my items."
