"Very cool low tide geological experience seeing the bowling ball rocks and figuring out the mystery of them. Saw some very cool abalone chunks on the beach as well!"
"Gorgeous beach and trail. We came at high tide, but the large boluders were visible."
"Beautiful, even if not the lowest tide. In addition to the "balls", lots of rock formations are quite artistic. Very limited parking along the road, but there is also a dirt road in front of the trail head where more cars can park"
"We got there at mid-high tide and we couldn’t see the bowling balls. Not worth a stop in that situation but I want to go back at low tide to see them."
"I visited this beach on July/2/20. I did not have to pay for parking, The parking is on the road. It is small area, probably can hold about 8 cars. The trail is a little tricky, it has 2 different ways to enter the ocean. I was hiking both. The one with the sign and the picture of Bowling Ball Beach was leading me to fascinating beach. The trail without the picture and the sign leading me to many steps and down to the ocean. it was a little steep but it was fun to hike since I had to crossover a lot of dry logs. As long as I enter the ocean the fun part was beginning. I saw interesting rock formations. It made me want to stay there a little longer not for the beauty of the ocean, but for those rock. They are a rock and rocks, but they are very special. They are building by the waves of the ocean. They are so interesting formations. I definitely try to head out as low tightest possible to see that unique rock formations again."
