"I'm really disappointed and just frustrated. Paid $345 for a cake that I could of bought from Albertson. The cake was really dry, red velvet was not even sweet , the filling was not creme cheese like it was suppose to be. To much whip creme , whole cake shifted and tipped over. Wasn't driving fast or nothing . First time I bought a cake from here was for my baby 1st birthday . I don't think I'll be getting another cake from here. I feel like I waisted my money and could have saved over $200 by just going to Albertsons . The money paid did not match the cake. If I can give 0 stars I would."

"I ordered a birthday cake and was very disappointed. I ordered a plain heart shaped cake with buttercream only and cookies and cream filling that I paid extra for. I was explained that they use an outer layer of whipped cream for smoothness and without that, the cake wouldn't be as smooth. I asked if it could be made with buttercream only otherwise I wouldn't place an order. I was assured they could and I expressed I do not eat whipped cream and am okay with the understanding of the finish may be different without the whipped cream layer. Cake order was placed with bold writing BUTTERCREAM ONLY. Anywho, picked up the cake and it was pretty, no complaints initially. Take it to the event hours later and as the establishments brings the cakes slices out, there is barely any filling in the cake and the to my surprise there is whipped cream as the outer layer. I called Lupita's the next day to share my disappointment, that not only was the cake not what I asked for, I was unable to enjoy my own birthday cake day of and thereafter. Their solution was to offer me a credit for a $30 cake when I paid $150 for the cake I ordered. Martha the manager was polite, but really didn't see the resolution as problem. Additionally, after I sent a picture of the filling, she stated that it was only slightly thinner than what they normally put in a cake. The filling was as thin as a piece of cardstock paper. So I paid extra money for a premium filling only to not be able to taste it, what a joke. A rip off!!!!! I asked if they would be able to return any portion of my money for a cake that I cannot eat and Martha offered to give me a $30 refund for the whipped cream being put on the cake in place of the store credit. I will not ever be returning to this establishment to purchase a cake and I do not recommend to others. The cake itself was a bit on the dry side, the cake to filling ratio is completely off, they do not find it necessary to find a resolve when they make errors that is equitable and fair. The only reason they get 2 stars is because everyone I spoke with was polite and kind."

"Great place to stop for lunch if youre in a hurry. I got a birria burrito and a bottle of coke, which came out to $14 and some change. The burrito was big and filling. And a plus is they have parking."

"So disappointed! I selected this bakery based on a super cute cake I saw from them…sent them the same image they had made but what they delivered me was made carelessly. Lettering looks sloppy, off center and hard to read, unlike the dainty lettering in the cake that they did before. I ordered black accents and they just decided to randomly use pink beads on sides which makes the black frosting look akward. I’m not sure why they wouldn’t just use the same color pink frosting to write on the board but the two different tones of pink is just not it. When I called to express concerns they said to email it and just never got back to me to fix it, now bday girls sister upon seeing pics has suggested I please don’t bring it as she’s not confident in presenting it to her sis on her special day. Sad. Let them down, and feel like they made the cake carelessly and we’re also careless in not responding when I expressed concerns instead of responding timely and offering me ways of fixing the cake in time or addressing the issue. By the time I got ahold of them they didn’t offer to come get it and fix even though there was still 4 hours until event. Although they agreed the writing was not good they said if it had been earlier they could have fixed it, which was very frustrating because they didn’t explain in a timely way to me any way of fixing it and were not responsive, Now I have no cake and spent my time energy and money for no reason and let down my friend on her 30th : ( Pics are the sloppy lettering, black staining on sides, beads falling off and placed poorly and two different tones of pink icing for no reason at all. As I look at all the cute cakes from this bakery I just don’t understand how mine came out like this : ("

"What a great restaurant and bakery ! You can custom order cakes or choose one from their case. They offer breakfast, lunch and dinner items of sopes, tacos, taquitos, borritos and quesadillas. We had the Taco Suave plate with 3 tacos (carnitas), rice, refried beans, and salad with guac dressing, might have been additional toppings but i ate it as a salad. We also ordered some cookies for dessert. I was very happy with our visit and definitely recommend."
