"Pros: - Food is tasty. - Environment is lively and plenty of screens to watch, and you can usually find somewhere to sit. - Staff is very nice. Cons: - Trio dip had some stale chips. I thought it was just me, then the table next to me overheard me telling my friend that I was there with, and confirmed some of their chips tasted similarly. - Second time going I sat at the bar, it took quite a while to get the bartender to come back after initially coming over and asking for an order. It was obvious he was stretched thin, and the place was packed. - Prices are a bit up there for what you get, especially for Marina. Overall, I’m grateful to have the place in town and it’s a chill spot to grab food/drinks. I’ll definitely be back, and hope that they can work out the kinks as things settle down."
"I am proud to say it's been two years and the brass tap in Marina has finally opened for business. It's a great day because the owner and his sister are very close to me, and they've been looking forward to this day, and have invested all their time and effort into making it happen. They do have various beers on tap from around the world, cocktails and food are served, there is a heated patio to where you can sit outside and have your food and your drink. I took a friend, and she really enjoyed it, we told ourselves we're going to make this place our place to get away as friends. The food is outstanding, the service is impeccable, and it has a real home vibe to it. People are friendly, engaging, and the owner makes you feel right at home. I give my highest recommendation, to visiting The Brass Tap in Marina."
"Really cool spot, especially for Marina. Came in during the first week of their soft opening, had to wait about 10 minutes outside before being seated. The bar set up is really unique as it wraps around the restaurant and there’s also an outdoor patio with heaters. Our bartender was really friendly, and drinks were good. Lots of beer on tap. Food was pretty average, but didn’t get to try a lot since they were out of chicken. Wouldn’t recommend the buffalo cauliflower, it was pretty much raw and unseasoned. Overall, a cool spot!"
"I read the other reviews and realize this place is new and working out the kinks. My comments are meant to be constructive hopefully they help. We sat at a table right by the food window. DON’T recommend sitting over here. Busy! 1-the table in the corner appeared to be where off duty management worked but other waitstaff congregated and snacked. Not a good look. people seemed to be getting trained at 6:40 pm during dinner rush… 2-guy managing food coming out and the screen seems like a nebulous job, or one that should be done in the kitchen to organize orders. This guy working the window though may have been the happiest person here! Loved him. He should probably be the host! Lastly, there were A LOT of staff but too many, they were running into each other. Could use less staff with more hustle and be fine. And again, some staff, seemed like the managers, standing around the food window strategizing. Not a good spot to chat in a very busy location of the restaurant. Overall atmosphere seems cool and the food was good. My crinkle cut fries were amazing! And I got the brisket grilled cheese without the brisket and it was DELICIOUS! Fresh jalapeños, well done Brass Tap well done!"
