"This was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I bought a pair of shoes that was suppose to be a size 81/2 but were an 8. I returned them the next day new, unworn in the original box but was given the run around trying to exchange them. I went to the store where I bought them but they did not have the size. They told me I could travel 10 miles up the road to Hibbett or another 8 miles or more miles to another City Gear to exchange the shoes. I was told they both had my size. When I went to Hibbetts on Shillinger’s Rd. I was told they were not part of City Gear and they were not able to help me. I then traveled another 5-8 miles to City Gear in Tillman’s Corner and was treated very rude. The guy there told me he wasn’t going to exchange them because they should have given me my money back and I could have come over there and buy them and he told me to get out of his store when I asked for a manger’s telephone number. He had the correct size in the store but refused to exchange them. It was like a power struggle between the stores. Very rude. I then went back to the original location where I bought the shoes and was told they couldn’t give me my money back. At that point I didn’t want anything from City Gear. I wanted my money back. I did ask to speak to a representative and was given a telephone number. She was nice and assured me that I would be getting a call from City Gear in a day or two and my money would be returned. I will never shop in this store City Gear on Airport Blvd. again. I don’t shop where there is a no return policy. That was not told to me, it wasn’t on the receipt and there was nothing in the store that stated that policy. I wanted the correct size traveled to two different store trying to get them but it didn’t happen. If there is a no return policy it should be vigilant and on the receipt. The store manger said that was their policy. I was very disappointed. Gail"

Although the shoes I wanted were out of stock, the staff went above and beyond to help me find alternatives and provided several options to get the shoes as quickly as possible. They also suggested great pairings for the shoes and had incredibly friendly and responsive customer service.
