"First, I was promptly taken to do two different special eyesight tests that would provide updated information to Dr. McLaughlin at my appointment. Then, after a brief wait, a cheerful assistant took me into an exam room where I performed the routine eye test and a glaucoma test. She applied the glaucoma drops as well dilation drops to my eyes. Finally, I was called back into an exam room after the dilation had time to take effect when Dr. McLaughlin thoroughly reviewed my test results and examined my eyes with the microscope and other equipment. Pensively and happily, he told me that my peripheral vision — especially on the upper areas — was much better on this test! Although it it trending downwards, we came up with a plausible explanation together. He is referring me to an ophthalmologist who specializes in eyelid surgery, who happens to be a former doctor of mine! I also made a return appointment with Dr. McLaughlin’s PA for six months."

"Dr was super! Scheduling has turned into a nightmare! They simply Do NOT return your call in the time they say they will. (24hrs) I needed to change my surgery date and it took nearly a week to get a return call. Which, of course, I missed the call! They left a voice mail to call back. Which, of course, I did .. only to get their voice mail box. 26 hr’s later, I’m still waiting!! It’s nearly impossible to talk to a “person!” I have called 5 days in a row .. to get only one response .. which I missed. I simply can’t understand how patients can be treated like this. My anxiety level is at 100% .."
