"This is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with the incompetence of the customer service agent and the automated system is trash. It tells you that if you make you pastdue payment they will receive notification to turn your service back on but that is a bold face lie...you have to call and speak to and agent in order to find out that you have to pay the reconnect fee of $40 before the will even receive notification.This is the last time I will be dealing with cape coral utilities they want you to sign up for paperless bill for this reason and you don't get notification or calls prior to the disconnect so that you will have to pay the additional fee..."
"Called to shut water off. Said I have to come in in person. Got a flight down only to find out that it could have been accomplished via Fax or snail mail. Ugh….."
"Poor customer service, been given the runaround and ignored for months. The City DAMAGED the piping and plumbing in our home and will not even reply to NUMEROUS phone calls and emails. FURTHERMORE, the city water is NOT purified properly, and NOT by reverse osmosis; otherwise, it would not have ANY taste NOR odor to it. This is the WORST WATER we have had in Florida."
"Web page to change account is a mess. I had to go to the office twice, the costumer service was excellent but then I continued having the same trouble. After 2 months I was able to resolve the account issues over the phone. Second issue there is no running water at home, just happens now, I called Costumer Service but it is closed due to MLKJr day. The bill is updated so it is not due to missing payment. No idea of the reason and no clue about whom to call. Cape Coral gov must pay attention to this."
