The St. Regis Longboat Key Resort

We arrived without any reservations for dinner and were warmly welcomed by Kiera and Mike, who assisted us in securing a lovely table at CW Prime and showcased the property beautifully in the process. "The communication at this resort is atrocious. I booked (in person with the Riva hostess) a reservation which they said they lost. Now they cannot accommodate us at the time we booked. We have been calling for 3 days without getting a response. I finally spoke with the manager, Autumn, and she couldn’t fix this. This hotel is run more like a 3rd world country than it is a 5 star hotel. Beautiful property…it’s a shame they have poor management and booking teams. They clearly hired people that have never worked in the hospitality industry."

"We were fortunate to be among the first guests to experience the newly opened St. Regis Longboat Key (41st!) & it exceeded our expectations. The resort's understated elegance and impeccable service were exactly what we've come to expect from the St. Regis brand & other properties we have visited. The property itself is a masterpiece of design and craftsmanship. The attention to detail, from the luxurious finishes to the stunning landscaping, creates a truly serene and elegant atmosphere. The pools, lagoon & relaxation river with grotto are top. notch! While the resort is still new, we did encounter a few minor inconveniences, such as mosquitos and noseeums. We recommend bringing insect repellent until these issues are addressed. Our guest room, while not as spacious as others we've experienced at St. Regis properties, was incredibly comfortable and technologically advanced. The butler service was exceptional, as always, and the Longboat Key location provided a perfect backdrop for our staycation. Overall, we highly recommend the St. Regis Longboat Key and look forward to returning in the future."

"Great place! Sarasota finally getting a beach/pool club after all those years. Have been looking for this since forever. It is a little drive from downtown, but no biggie. Service was excellent, same as food & drinks. The only issue for me is lack of self-parking option. I've had too many problems with valets all across Florida and I would feel way more comfortable being able to park on my own, even it that means a little walk (you can do it at the Ritz, and pretty much anywhere in Tampa/Miami/Orlando). Hopefully that will be an option soon (or maybe it already is, but they didn't mention it at the gate?) As much as I'd really like to see a fully blown Nikki Beach in Sarasota, this is a good start and makes for a great date & dinner location. If they add a self-parking option, we will definitely be coming back for more."
