"I made my first visit after moving into the area a few months ago. The Pastor led the hymnals, the members were very helpful and welcoming. The sermon message was very insightful with the Pastor highlighting several books in the bible. When I visit a church, I prefer not to wait at the end and shake 20 hands so I rushed out at the end to avoid that, but that didn't stop the Pastor. He ran out to my SUV far into the parking lot on the church grass just to give me a warm welcome. If you are new to the area, like me, Slater Road Baptist Church should be on your visit list. A smaller, personable church where kindness seems to abound."
