"Great place to hike but there are no trail maps on display anywhere. They need to hang up a trail map!"
"Enjoyed the shady A, B, C, D Loop trails on a beautiful February day. Loop E is under construction. Observed 18 species of birds in approx. 3 miles of dry trails through oaks and pines. Stopped at the bench next to a small pond where an anhinga was drying its wings. Will be back!"
"This is a great park for a long walk mostly shaded and some open but make sure you bring something to drink. It is reclaimed land that used to be an old orange grove so you may see some citrus trees and some tall irrigation spigots leftover from years ago. But left to themselves the wild places become wild again and you will see some of what old Florida used to be. There are a few picnic tables at the entrance but only a portlet and no water sources. There is a pay station with a charge of $2.00 for parking. One of the few places locally you can trailer in horses and take a nice ride. But is frequented by dog walkers, hikers and track and field training teams."
"One of my favorite trails ever! Two dollars for parking but it's an equestrian trail as well as a hiking path. There's picnic tables and a port o potty and a little water station"
"This is a very large, very clean mixed-use park. There are many long, winding intersecting trail's that cross bridges through ecology zones ranging from scrub-grass, forest, to marsh land. Great hiking, you won't be disappointed."
