HCA Florida Westside Hospital Emergency Room

"I was involve in a car crashed and was sent by the paramedic to this hospital ER. The nurses and Dr's are great the name I remembered Nurse Ashley, Dr Johnson Dr Sara. All of them are great. I was in pain but they all comforting me well and was discharged with contusion rib, chest and scalp bruises. A day later I return coz felt the pain isn't getting better. I was greeted by the security, a very nice guy. Assist me to register. They done the whole assessment again my head and chest. And was released with additional prescriptions and advised. I would like to thanks everybody who help me during the crashed the paramedics, police officers, nurses, doctors, medical tech and god knew who else's. Keep it up guys."

"The service at this hospital sucks all the doctors and nurses are very slow my daughter was in a new Orlando for a year and every hospital in Broward that I’ve been to cannot match the service of those doctors and nurses world renowned. The ones here are not doctors nurses. They just looking to work in the healthcare field for a better paycheck and it’s disgusting."

"The staff at the ER did an exceptional job. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because I was informed they are connected to the Urgent Care, who did a terrible job. I dint pretend to know anything about the medical field, but when the ER does something that the Urgent Care could have done, but didn't even try, I have to say terrible customer service. I even said it outloud while leaving residence, I'll bet a million dollars the Urgent Care sends us to the ER. In fact I'm not even sure why there are Urgent cares, they never seem to actually treat anyone, they just send them to the ER. I don't know if it's to make bill larger, the staff is just lazy, or another reason, but I learned today that they COULD have taken us, but did not. In the future I will only use primary doctor and hospitals, because Urgent cares are a waste of time."

"The staff at HCA was great. Dr. Jeffrey Marsh, Dr.Kevin Edwards along with Judy the nurse was the perfect team for my issue. They were amazing. I fell so at ease with them. Thanks guys job well done."

"I had a good experience at this hospital last night. I won’t lie when I went in. It took so so long for me to finally get called back, but as soon as I got called back, I got immediate care from My nurse Dejah And my provider was Magnone Who was exceptional as well! Dejah Help make the experience way more comfortable and enjoyable for me. She was very informative and even made me laugh a few times so I can get through the uncomfortable and pain of getting my blood drawn and just the scary feeling of not knowing what is going on at all, she just made everything 100% better and if I ever go back, I really hope that my nurse is Dejah!"
