"I will update this review when I feel moved to do so. Now it is my job to share my experience so it wont repeat on you. Im unwell its very plain to see and Im going to the neurologist with a new problem that could be very bad. Its been culminating for 5 years since a botched surgery. Dr DeGeronimo in Wesley Chapel Fl. is new to me but for me so far he is ok. This review is about 2 members of his staff. The doctor gave me multiple test orders and told me to tell the clerk to make an appointment for 2 weeks. I went to the office which has only one clerk. She refused to give me an appoinment for 2 weeks 3 times even after I told her "he wants to check on me". She didnt care. So I spoke very loudly so all who sitting in waiting heard and I said "I have to speak to the doctor about this and I opened the door back to the rooms and kept speaking loud and clerk threatened me. Assisstant came out and got in my face as my leg and body shook as I clutched my walker. Finally they got the doctor and he came out and in a soft voice said "whats happening"? Assisstant tried to answer but every time she opned her mouth I said NO,,, NO. Then I spoke and told him and he looked in my direction and said yes 2 weeks and told me to calm down and walked away. I thought it was done but I went to get the appoinment and then went to the car and she made it for the 29th which is a month. So I had to go back in had to wait for other people to be taken told her get it for 2 weeks and she had it ready to hand me. This is a very negative person and if your ill like me thats not what you deserve."

"If you need legitimate no-nonsense medical care, avoid this neurology practice. At the first visit, I was not examined by a neurologist, but I was instead examined by a nurse PA or NP or other person. At this appointment I was 'prescribed' physical therapy, even though this person told me directly that physical therapy wasn't warranted, as it was just something 'to try and placate the insurance company' because 'they just want to wait for a long time as a lot of ailments go away on their own'. I was also prescribed an xray. I work out of town 100%, so it is extremely difficult for me to get into appointments in general. I got the xray, and after finally getting back in town after three months of work, made appointment #2 for the follow up visit. When I showed up for the appointment there was another person, a woman, in the receptionist's window droning on and on and on about her care. At the end of this conversation, the receptionist asked if she ultimately needed to 'ask the doctor something', so it looks like this woman that was in the window for over fifteen minutes didn't even have an appointment. After she left the window, the receptionist had the audacity to complain that I was late for my appointment even though she knew well that this other woman was in her window preventing my check in this whole time. It was so outrageous, I contemplated she was kidding me about it. But she was serious. When I said "Did you see the woman in your window this whole time talking so I couldn't check in?" She replied "I can only handle one patient at a time." Are you kidding me? I can't handle this level of incompetence. I'm transferring to a legitimate neurology office and filing a complaint with Florida Blue Cross based upon what transpired."
