"Everyone we encountered from ED security and check-in to all of the staff in the ED, ICU and 5th floor (doctors & nurses) were amazing! However my family that visited said the main area security man was not pleasant at all (no personality and seemed to hate his job), but once you entered the hospital the ladies behind the desk were fabulous again. Even the follow-up call that was not expected was very much appreciated."

"Avoid emergency room. Per other reviews this is not a “full fledged hospital”. Not sure if that’s why our emergency room experience was bad but we waited for 30 minutes in the lobby after checking in. Repeatedly asked front desk staff how long it would take to be triaged so we could decide to go somewhere else and asked if it was busy in the back/full rooms? Response was vague and supposedly front desk employee conveyed to nurses how urgent the situation was but still nothing. So we left and will not be going back. Parking lot was practically empty (didn’t seem busy). Maybe they need more time to get established??? Also after self check-in at the kiosk they text a link for you to fill out registration and insurance forms. The process is lengthy and not the appropriate time to be asking for that amount of information. Even worse, there were several ads you have to click through after spending at least 5 minutes filling out all the required forms online. Super inappropriate under the circumstances. The whole time I was rushing through it hoping it wouldn’t affect our wait time for triage. What I can say is the Imaging Center at this hospital is great - friendly, knowledgeable staff with many appointment slots and little to no wait upon arrival the couple times I’ve been there."

"I am new to Florida. Moved here from Louisiana in August. On Sunday I started with a stomach ache. By 5:00 Sunday I knew it was more than a tummy ache. Had my husband bring me to the ER that was closest to our home which turned out to be BayCare Wesley Chapel. From start to finish this hospital was top notch. Turns out my gall bladder needed to come out and had the surgery on Tuesday morning and was discharged Wednesday afternoon. ALL of the staff is friendly, professional, knowledgable they are all wonderful. Each and every one of them. From the nurses to the general staff and the doctors and practitioners. If I could give them all 20,000 stars I would! Thank you to all of you that took such good care of me during my visit. Thank you thank you thank you! Sincerely, Amber Wooten"

"Very kind and compassionate. I loved my doctor. He wasn’t judgmental and made me feel like he truly understood my symptoms and privacy. My male nurse was a super hero handling all that he had to do between me and all the patients he was assigned. Not an easy job but he worked it like a pro! Thank you. I feel 90%better and will continue to improve :-)"
