"Walked in at 1:45 to donate blood as I'm on testosterone I have to do therapeutic blood donations. Immediately told I had to make an appointment. At no location have I ever had to do this so I went to another location where I don't have to deal with lazy staff that don't want to do their job. Might I suggest to the staff working today to find new career path if you dislike your job so much your to lazy to do it. I went to the blanding Blvd location where I had no problem updating my prescription ,donating and setting up future appointments with mike. I think it's important staff understand their choices affect patients ,especially therapeutic ones like me. My blood is no different than anyone else and is not thrown out but regardless their job is to draw it. I have certain hemoglobin levels to maintain not only for me to feel ok and healthy but also for medication purposes. Bc of their denial by the time I was able to donate my hemoglobin was 17 which made the process of donating uncomfortable and take longer due to thickness not to mention sides affects of nausea and sweating. My complaint was made in hopes of change . ONE BLOOD is the primary donor in our area and all locations should operate the same and staff realize they provide vital services that shouldn't be taken lightly enough they are comfortable turning away patients simply bc it's end of shift hours when theres constant blood shortages now days."

"First of all, I would like to give Oneblood staff at Beach Blvd a shout-out. Everyone was very professional. It was truly a team effort. Today was my first donation of platelets, and my phlebotomist Jazlyn Charisma gave me that feeling of genuinely caring. She didn't hesitate when I had a little numbness. She knew what to do. Thank you, team BEACH BLVD, you made me feel at ease."

"Went in for an appointment Sunday 8am, 1st person in the door while signing in the girl behind the desk then said,”your going to have to wait as there are 4 people I have to hook up to machines” sounds to me that my blood and my time does not matter. Rude and inconsiderate of my time i took out of my day. Been donating for years almost to 5 gallons. If this is how regular donors will be treated going forward I won’t be donating here."

"The absolute best location in all of Jax. I've donated roughly a dozen times and usually come to this location cause it has the friendliest people. I've never had a reaction after donating but last night, I went to donate and accidently passed out due to low blood sugar (It was my fault! I didn't eat enough beforehand). When I woke up, I was surrounded by the 4 greatest nurses calming me down and comforting me. I cannot say enough great things about the ladies who helped me. I will always come to this location because I know I will never have anything to worry about. Thank you Charisma, Molly, Nancy and Janelle!"
