"I followed my oncologist's directions and had my blood draw done a week prior to my appointment, as always. My PSA count was not available online or to the cancer center a week later, which left us guessing at treatment. 12 days later we were finally able to contact Quest and found that the blood work is no longer done locally, but is now shipped to Virginia, where the lab only works 3 days a week. I'm sure this cost saving measure works well for Quest, but without notice, it is a great disservice to their clients and will force me and many others to change their lab."
"My appt. made is NEVER on the computer when I check in!!! NEVER! Others I have waited with have had the exact same issues. No person at a desk to get help from - nothing! Company has gone the cheap way by hiring less people & switching to automated but have not given us at least ONE physical being to help us out front! Door is locked etc. I now HATE Quest & used to love it."
"Walk ins NOT welcome. I hope this business fails. There is no secretary, just kiosks, not even a desk personel. This place feels so clinical it got into dystopia. Checked in and waited for over an hour, left when a man before, who had said he arrived an hour before me left. I get it clinics can be understaffed at the best of times but in my hour there, they let in one, ONE patient. Not on the walk in list, they had an appt. Good on them I guess. I couldn't make a appt on the website same day so no luck for me. Man before me said that he had only seen one other, they had an appt too any way so moot I guess. If your going to shaft the walk-ins just don't accept them in the first place. I wasted an hour of my life and Quest Diagnostics is blacklisted for me going forward. Can't say much positive, at least the place looked decent, was clean. Probably more to do with the building manager as it's a shared office but heh, credit due. I don't like calling out the office workers and nurses, but if you work for a place like this, I can't say you don't deserve some flack. Quit, walk out, abandon this place to the corpo dip who thought it up. One star cause I can't give zero."
"Check-in was fast and efficient, but the tech informed me that she could not find the order from my doctor. She requested that I tell her the date the order was issued and when I told her she looked at the wrong date first before i corrected her. Then she asked if it was faxed which I didn't know the answer to. Then she asked for the clinic's phone number which I gave her. She called and got verification of the order but did not insure that the standing order would be honored. When I told the clinic, the Anti-Coagulant Clinic in Sacramento, they insisted that the order was sent in electronically and couldn't understand why the tech could not find it. So I'm not confident it will be found if I come back."
"They were short staffed, as usual. They couldn't find my standing orders. You can't talk to anyone to get help, until they are calling someone else in. I made an appointment. I had two separate orders. After they couldn't find my standing orders, I had to call my doctor, wait for someone to come out. She was all frantic, saying she was the only one there. She said I had to start over and wait behind people who had appointments. Now I have to wait until my wife's next day off, fast all night and hope the can find my orders. Horrible experience. May be using a different lab next time."
