"Our dealings with Bo's Electric was top notch from start to finish! Our sales person, Mike was great. He showed up early and went over everything he was going to look at and get us a quote. We had a quote before he left. He explained how the generator would function and how the process would be from purchase to install. Roger and Coco were awesome!! They were both very friendly and professional. They kept us informed of their progress while installing our new Generac whole home generator. They answered our questions and, even though we knew they would be shutting power off at least a couple of times, they took the time to make sure they let us know each time so we could make sure we were prepared. (computer documents saved, coffee made, etc.) Neptali handled burying our propane tank and he was just as good! He didn't destroy our yard and cleaned up afterwards so that the ground was level again and ready to regrow grass. He also let us know when he was ready to test so that we knew the power was going out briefly. No "Surprise!, you're power is going to go out again for testing!! He was professional and always smiling while telling us what was going on! I highly recommend Bo's Electric for your generator needs!! Whole home Generators are not cheap, they are an investment. We shopped our original quote, and we got quotes that were substantially less...until we actually gave them all the details of what we wanted so that it was apples to apples, which started the "add on" process. Guess what, the price gap disappeared faster than Houdini!! Bo's Electric is also a one stop shop for Generators...I did not have to shop around for a different company to handle the propane install. With Bo's, we also own our tank, so there are no tank lease payments and the tank will convey to the new owner should we ever sell our home or it passes down to our kid. It is a pretty good size investment for peace of mind during a power outage caused by someone hitting a transformer or the worst, having to ride out a hurricane...make sure you use someone you can trust to do the job right! I will recommend Bo's every time!!"

"We gave them a deposit of $5,000 back on June 6 for a whole house generator. It’s now August 12 and once again, I’m getting the runaround. After a month and a half, we contacted them for an update and were informed that the permit was denied by the county because we needed a plot map. Condo associations don’t have individual plot maps - a fact that Bo’s Electric is well aware of. Last week, after another follow up inquiry, we were told they would resubmit the permit to the county. Today I was informed that the permit was never submitted to the county but instead, to a third party service who “reviews permits” for them. Long story short; no permit was ever, at any time, filed with Lee County. Yelp reviews are stating the same thing we’re experiencing; countless claims of permit delays, screwing people out of their deposits and not returning calls. When I questioned the process/ethics; I was reminded that I signed contract and my deposit was non-refundable. You do realize that a contract holds you under legal obligation too, correct? That works both ways. Very shortly I will be reaching out to our corporate, legal counsel and filing a report with the Better Business Bureau. This use to be a reputable company. As contractors ourselves, we’ve done business with them for years, but evidently the new owners have their own agenda. Rest assured, I will not tolerate being scammed."

"This past week just had the propane tank and generator installed by Bo's. Everything went smoothly, the electricians, Roger and Coco did an excellent job, and the gas technician Neptali did a great job and even linked up my existing kitchen gas line to the 500-gallon tank. The whole team worked well together, there was a lot of hand trenching required but everything was back filled, and the landscaping rock put back. Everyone worked clean and left no mess. On completion I was shown what had been done and everything looks very neat. I am very pleased with the result. Happy to finally have the complete home system in place, just waiting for the truck to come and fill the tank now. I would recommend Bo's, they seem to be very professional, and the standard of work is exceptional."
