"I was experiencing a tachycardia attack, so my partner called St. Petersburg Fire Rescue to take me to the hospital. Without my knowledge or consent, they instructed a TRAINEE to inject me with an IV. Firstly, this is ILLEGAL because a trainee is not licensed to inject patients, and this is ILLEGAL because I was not notified that he was trainee. Secondly, the trainee incorrectly injected the IV into my skin, causing a water sac to fill-up in my skin to the size of a tennis ball, until I cried out from the pain, looked down, and realised what had happened. Because this trainee was medically incompetent, he caused me a SERIOUS MEDICAL COMPLICATIONS. Why was no one monitoring this trainee? Not only is this illegal, this is MEDICAL ABUSE and MISPRACTICE. I should report you to the authorities and sue."

"On 11 November 2018 I tripped over a high spot on our sidewalk while checking the mail. It was a nasty fall with my hands holding mail unable to catch myself in time. Never having to need a paramedic ( seventy-something) that in itself was a stressful event. The Crew that showed up were the highest example of professionalism, kindness, consideration and compassion. The lead paramedic who attended me projected a self-assurance of his skills that both impressed me and calmed me at the same time. The whole crew made you feel you were important not just another run for them. One of the paramedics attended me in the ambulance and his continued support and level of skill was very comforting - on the trauma scale of 1 to 10 I felt like an 11 inside! Thanks guys...you were brilliant!"
