"Unreal how incredible these people are. They handled all my petty and emotional insane requests like champs. Lisa, Bob and team were just incredible. Dad looked so amazing and peaceful. Lisa calmed me down when I couldn’t breathe during the casket closing. Prevatt took care of my mom 5 years ago and dad this March. I hate that I have to recommend a funeral home but I highly recommend them. These people are better than family. "After losing my 17 year old sister in December, 2017, and a terrible experience with another funeral director in the area, my parents contacted David at Prevatt and we are all so glad that they did. He turned the terrible experience into one that was beyond what we ever expected. First of all, he stayed late on the day we met him and never made us feel as if we were being rushed or inconveniencing him. He allowed us to bring two car loads of ribbons, trophies, pictures and even my sisters horse to the funeral home. Even while we were discussing how we would like things to be done David came up with several ideas that we had not even considered, including the horse! He was patient enough to look through over 100 photos that we sent and create a slideshow that played during the receiving friends. His staff never made us feel as if we were overstaying our welcome even though we stayed later than scheduled. The patience and the sincerity with which they operate is amazing. They all promoted an environment of compassion and understanding throughout the entire process. I would recommend anyone to David and his staff because I know they would create that same feeling for everyone. David has even been great in the time since, going out of his way to contact my father and to make sure that everything was handled the way he wanted. Our entire extended family appreciates Pravatt for making our experience one that truly honored my younger sister's memory. Thank you again!"
