"A Wonderful place to pray"
"I am from St. Demiana Coptic Orthodox church in Jacksonville, and I came here for the Basketball Tournament they were hosting. The church is so beautiful, the icons and the sanctuary, everything about it is wonderful. The priest is so kind. The community is welcoming and amazing. I had a great time at the tournament even though we lost. Before the tournament, they let us pray in the sanctuary, and it was amazing. Amazing and beautiful church, with an amazing congregation and priest."

"My review is of the Coptic Orthodox church as an institution and to include this location. Through several moves to different locations I wasn't always near a Coptic Orthodox church, so I visited other churches for worship, but I was never as fulfilled as I am when I attend services here. The reason is simple, this church teaches the true meaning of God and His love. This isn't only experienced in the sermons given by the clergymen. I can see it and feel it. The biggest indicator to me is the lack of greed. I've never been asked to give money. I am welcomed to come in, worship and learn and not have to pay for it. I like this philosophy, because it enforces the objective of the church. And it makes me want to give more, without feeling guilty if I forgot my checkbook at home. Another proof is the dedication to service in the clergymen. While usually highly educated and intelligent, they trade in successful professions for the cloth. Again, this is evident to me by the lack of greed. Although they have degrees in law, medicine, and the like; you will usually see them driving Hondas and Toyotas. I should end this by saying that if you are not an Egyptian, your first experience can be a little overwhelming. But please feel free to reach out to a member or to one of our Fathers. We are usually very proud of what our church has to offer and would love to show you around."
