Reviews
"I usually avoid great clips. But given the fact Great clips is a bit cheaper with all the coupons, the haircut experience should not be awful, especially if the Parton is a child. The stylist was extremely grumpy, impatient and unfriendly. Continuously nagging and not focused on making the child comfortable. This resulted in a totally bad haircut. I had to spend another $20 to fix his hair as he's starting school this week, to make sure he's not made fun of."
"Extremely unprofessional and started checking my scalp and even pulled one of my hairs out. I was so confused and thought she was checking for a grey maybe but she told I had lice and that she saw like 3-4. I had to wait an hour to even get this cut because the notification that told me I had 15 minutes was completely off. I got kicked out and humiliated and bawled my eyes out on the way home all to find out that I didn’t actually have anything but dry scalp. My mother is a pharmacist who’s been checking for lice since she was a kid I trust her way more than your uneducated staff for obvious reasons. Lice does not look like a flat piece of scalp flake and it’s glued onto the hair you can’t just flick it off and assume it’s lice like the lady did. My friend had a similar experience of getting kicked out just to find out she didn’t even have lice. Learn what it looks and feels like before shaming people for no reason. I’m never coming here again in my life. The lady had short curly hair that was orange/brown and had a lighter complexion. I don’t know her name."
"I really appreciate Paige, the manager and hair stylist at Great Clips. She is efficient, and cuts hair with ease and confidence. She always does a great job with my hair and Ive referred many friends and family to her over the past two years. She is fast and to the point and I like that about her. Bring a photo of what you want and she will do her best to make it happen. I met stylist Chanel as well and want to thank her for being so nice and kind."
"Today, I took my child for a haircut, and a woman approached us and instructed me to have my child sit down without any greeting. She had a very abrupt attitude and no smile, coming across as quite rude. When I tried to explain how my child's haircut should be done, she just told me to take a seat and said she would call me when needed. I also mentioned that my child doesn't communicate very well in English, but she didn't seem to acknowledge my concerns."
"Me and my friend got our haircuts by Kobe (as written on the receipt), and we were not satisfied with the service. I asked for a certain type of cut, but he told me no since it wouldn't look good with my hair texture. He assumed I just wanted to get my haircut this way due to recent trends, and I understand that it is his job to inform me when something would not look good on me as a hair stylist. However, he was unwilling to listen to me, and I have been getting that same cut for over 10 years now, I know that's what I like. My friends and I came in for a simple trim. He showed me and my friend he would cut off a certain amount of hair (1 inch), but he ended up cutting our hair so much shorter than we wanted (3 or so inches). He told me he cut off all my damaged hair ( it was bleached hair that I was hoping to dye again after my trim), but that is not what I wanted. He cut my hair fairly nice on one side, but super choppy on the other side. He left my friends hair uneven with random long strands. A hair stylist should give their input when helping the customer, but at the end of the day, they should listen to what the customer wants. The customer knows how their hair works the best. We don't need someone mansplaning it to us and dismissing our opinions. Would not recommend him for women's haircuts, hopefully he is better for men."
