"I would not recommend TRYING to work with McComb Electric. I had McComb Electric come to my home to give me a quote for electrical hookup to a whole home generator. After waiting 3 weeks and not hearing a word from them I called McComb Electric and asked if they were still interested in giving me a quote for the work and was told that the estimator that came out to my home to work up the quote would be getting back with me in the next day or so with the quote. 2 weeks later, still haven' t heard anything from them. I have never experienced a company that disregarded customer communication and service like McComb Electric. I would hate to know if they had given me a quote for the work and I went with them of how long they would have taken to do the work and how much lack of communication they would have had when doing the job. I would NOT recommend McComb Electric to anyone as you shouldn't have to beg a company to just give you a simple quote for service."

"I had ask to get a NEW light fixture in the garage for better lighting. The Mccombs representatives showed up, replaced 2 bulbs, took 10 minutes and they were gone. I ask what was the charge. He didn't know but said it shouldn't be too much. I got a bill for $161.00. I guess $120.00 of that was for him stepping out of his truck. Horrible business. Do not call these people. They will rip you off quick. Not only will I never call them again, I will tell every one who will listen not to use them. Word of mouth is very powerful whether it be positive or negative. Stay away from this business. Plain and simple!"

"I had the opportunity to hire Mike McCombs and one of his crews for two jobs. One involved a large sacred artwork which they treated with caution and respect. I was notified each time before they headed to the jobsite and they arrived when estimated. They worked well together and listened to my requirements and then proceeded efficiently. The estimate was fair and I was billed according to it. I will call them without hesitation for future projects."

"I am SO pleased with the Customer Service, Attention to detail, and follow up from McComb's Electrical! Had a tree limb collapse our main power feed, bending the "weatherhead" pipe. Gulf Power immediately secured the hot cabling. However, I was away and didn't know what had happened until 6PM. I went to every electrician's website that evening soliciting help to get the pipe fixed so I could get power back soon. Two out of 6 called me the next morning with offers to help. McComb said they could get a crew out today at no extra cost so they got the job. They got the permit for the work in the morning, and said they would be here in the "afternoon" and they were here at 1210. An hour and a half later, it was finished, inspector was notified, and I had power by back at 3:15. The two gentlemen from McCombs were courteous, sociable, and it was obvious they knew what they were doing and a the most efficient way to do it. They also brought the house up to current code, explaining to me exactly what the deal was. At 4:15, well after Gulf Power had finished hooking up my service and all was well, McComb's called me back to follow up and ensure that the inspector & Gulf Power had completed their respective duties! In less than 8 hours, McCombs Electrical responded to my job request, got the permit, did the work, and ensured that the inspector and power company had finished the mission - even after their portion was completed. McCombs is now my "go-to" electrician!"
