"My mother recently passed away. We had done some pre-planning with Reese which was painless and everything we asked for went off without a problem. We asked for a person that could say a few words at my mom’s funeral and the person they recommended did an incredible job. Everything was great but there were a few items that made end a little rough. They have a 3rd party DNA product that they offer but they don’t seem to fully understand it. For some things we paid the funeral home but for the person who spoke we had to reach out and pay her directly. It would be much easier to pay the funeral home and let them pay everyone. The state of Florida had an issue with providing death certificates. We still don’t have a death certificate and I have to call and get status every week. I feel like I’m irritating them but you can’t do anything without them. I’ve called the state but they won’t release status since the funeral home submitted the request."
"Had to use Reese Funeral Home because my father had some prearrangements. My brother died 6 months before and I payed $1k for a cremation and a simple urn at Taylor Cremation. You can't imagine how pissed off I was when Reese Funeral Home tried to charge me over $5k for the exact same. I think it's disgusting that Reese Funeral Home would use predatory tactics on bereaved folks. After some heated ranting over the phone they knocked about $2k off, but it was still 3 times what it coast at Taylor for the exact same thing. I would never use Reese Funeral Home again and I suggest you don't either."
