"My name is Sharon Hensley and I grew up in this church ,this was my grandparents church and this church is very much apart of My childhood. I lived in pompano beach and every time we had school vacation or summer vacation we would visit Clearwater. I love this church and I always felt welcomed even in 2001 . In 2001 the church was kind enough to have my mother's funeral service , pastor vestal I believe was the pastor at the time,before him it was pastor Hugh Harris and his wife Polly. I have fond memories of this church it's very special to me :)"

"The first time I visited was 3 years ago and found it rather clanish; a rather small congregation but not welcoming to newcomers and promoted Trump for president to boot. I visited again about 6 months ago as I have been Baptist for 50 yrs and thought I would give it a second try. Same result in that no one spoke to me (I tried), and just surmised they didn't want visitors just showing up. If you want a lonely, closed-minded church experience, this one might be the one for you."
