"I’ve known Dr Park for over 10 years and he’s one of the best Gastroenterologist I’ve ever seen. He’s very thorough with making a diagnosis and going over every detail with the patient. I’m so happy I don’t have to go to NYC to see him because he doesn’t really see patients in Long Island. Dr Park is a NYU Langone Doctor which transitioned to Northwell Health. "Being a medical professional I believe doctor needs to spend more time acknowledging the patient as a individual coming to your service with full trust and not expect the doctor to just type away without engaging with pt first, you can finish your work later, patient engagement is a must, I was told only to do ultrasound and bloodwork by the doctor and when the PA called she told me that the doctor also wanted fibroscan done, you don't do that you need to stay with your plan and discuss with your patient first, and what happened next is mind boggling, office staff need to be more professional, I was booked for fibroscan and appointment for Dr Park at the same day and I asked repeatedly where is the fibroscan taking place, the office staff without hesitation said oh right here in the flushing office without checking, so when I came for the appointment I found out the fibroscan can only be done at NYU in the city and I was told guess what u can see the doctor at 1 pm as scheduled and fibroscan you'll have to go to the city. I'm sorry I have zero tolerance for incompetent staff, how dare u assume that the test is going to be at the office when u clearly have no clue where the test is done over there, I'm just amazed, I don't care how u got the 5 star rating, u get zero star rating from me and I will be going to another Hepatologist."
