"As a psych nurse, I'm so disappointed in how yall run this clinic. For 10+ years I have dealt with so many issues but for the past 2 years the medication refilling problems have gotten unbearable. It has now gotten dangerous! My mental health medication has been stable for years and hasn't changed. Therefore, I see the provider every 4-6 months. In between appts, he provides refills (6) for most medications. All except for Gabapentin. For this medications, I only get 3 refills and then I'm stuck calling the office numerous times through the week trying to get someone to call it in for me. Yesterday, I went to pick it up and my pharmacist said that IBH denied the refill request. After 3 calls to IBH, i spoke with the office manager, Theresa. She stated the reason they do that is to ensure that the pt is still taking the medicine and that the "pharmacy isn't filling and stealing the medicine". This is absolutely absurd!! She told the nurse to call me .....who then said she would call the med in. It's vital because I'm already having withdrawals and if I didn't get it, I wouldnt havee it for the entire weekend. Guess what?? SHE NEVER SENT IT IN!!! The 1st rule they tell you when you start gabapentin is to NEVER stop taking it cold turkey..it can causes depression, anxiety, suicide, seizures, etc. Now that I don't have it, I will be without it for 4-5 days!! You cannot put patients on psychotropic medications and then leave them hanging for days when they need refills! A weeks notice should be plenty of time for you to refill it!! Being irresponsible with medication management is unethical and borders on malpractice by patient neglect. Please change tge way IBH Montgomery is doing things before a patient gets serious hurt."
"My one star is for the overall experience of this office. My doctors Jasmine Bryant and Shaneka Magee were so kind and helpful and if I could give them individual 5 star review I would. However I will no longer be coming back. I have had car troubles as of recent and there is no accommodation whatsoever. I have always paid when I have missed appointments but this company doesn’t seem to actually care for mental health they just care to get their $50 cancellation fee and whatever charges they can tack on your bill. My two most recent appointments I called in to see what I could do because first my car battery went out and now my alternator has gone. My appointments are just follow ups on whether my medication is working for me still. I’m in my appointments for 5 minutes tops. I asked if it was possible to do an over the phone follow up (I was told if I needed to speak to my doctor at any point to call in) and was told that it’s considered a telehealth appointment and they do not do that and that I would be charged for cancelling even though I asked if it would be possible to reschedule.. The doctors are amazing here and I highly recommend the two I had been seeing but be prepared to catch attitude from whoever answers the phone and have your checkbook ready because in my personal experience that’s all they care about."
"First, Jasmine Bryant is an amazing therapist. The best I have ever seen. She deserves beyond 5 stars. However, I have to give this place 1 star for the lack of care everyone else besides Jasmine has. Front desk staff acts like they don’t want to talk to anyone that comes through the door. It is not my fault you do not want to be at work. Every appointment I have had with nurse practitioner Hayes and Magee have been awful. Neither of them listened and Magee stated she would refer me accordingly for specific issues and she did not. I even called to verify and they had no record of her even attempting to refer. I have also been charged a $50 no show fee which I would not complain about as I take responsibility for not showing. But I did, in fact call to cancel my appointment. I left a voicemail (they don’t like to answer the phone) before the period where you get charged a fee and I did not hear anything from anyone. Not even an attempt to call me back. Also, why would I want to show and pay money for a nurse practitioner that completely disregarded anything I said and prescribed me medications I already stated were not effective for me? This place has potential, but they need to work on execution and realize that patients are real people with feelings and issues too."
"I give FIVE stars to my actual practitioner, Hunter, but ZERO STARS to Dr. Parrot for speading MEDICAL MISINFORMATION! Dr. Parrot took me off a medication that has to be TAPERED but completely cut me off. I am completely flabbergasted. What about that OATH, DOC?! Do no harm? You have harmed me and will tell EVERYONE what you have done. Everything you said yesterday was an absolute LIE!!!! You should be ashamed of yourself. Hunter Hutchinson is the absolute BEST. 10/10 recommend. Dr. Parrot - 0/10."
"Terrible experience. Least “professional” professional I have ever dealt with. I was there with someone who needed some support and the Doctor, Dr. Kwok seemed okay at first but then he prescribed them an additional medication that was clearly listed as one which should not be taken with the other. The bad drug interaction made the patient sick for most of the winter holidays, including Christmas but Dr. Kwok was slow to respond and not at all apologetic or accountable, and instead of being more helpful he spent the next session arguing that another standard and clearly listed side effect of one med wasn’t actually happening to the patient when it was clear as day that it was and their regular doctor had already verified it. He was extremely rude and patronizing to the point where we walked out in distress at the experience. We shared this with the front desk who didn’t seem concerned at all. This practice needs to hire better and do better!"
