"DO NOT USE ! ! ! I can not give no stars!! They are posting auctions online via the HiBid website but do not exist!! I "won" several items during a recent auction and they didn't reply until TWO weeks later after I left several emails, texts, phone calls - Went to the physical address listed (2hrs away!!) - VACANT!! There were contractors there gutting the place for the next occupant and they told me that they have been gone for a few weeks!! You have been warned!! A formal complaint has been submitted to HiBid and the Better Business Bureau for fraud!!"
"Awesome people to work with, they answered my calls and called me when and where to pick up my items. Also received emails for updated info. I have been to 3 sales now and everything went smooth. A great bunch of people to work with. I have never been charged to go in the door of any of her estate sales."
"I participated in 2 auctions they ran on Hibid. I purchased items from both, my card was charged, it is 2 months later and I still have not received my items. They will kot answer the phone or emails. I have contacted Hibid and will also contact my credit card company. Very dissatisfied!"
"They started charging a monthly membership fee to bid on the online auctions. I've never heard of such a thing. Also, who charges people to go into an estate sale? This is not how you gain customers. I left after the membership fees started. By reading the other reviews, I see that others feel the same way. Her responses to the reviews is enough for people to see her character. Taking the criticism graciously and changing her business model would have been the correct way to handle it. Instead she calls people "riff raff" just because they don't want to pay entrance fees, which are NOT the industry's standard. Steer clear."
"I gave them 2 chances...and I am done. Here is my experience. Last October, I purchased 2 items from their estate sale on Pensacola Beach (2 Mary Kay Dolls). I paid my invoice and was never provided an address for pick up. I called multiple times and was told it would be emailed, and then that it would be texted...it never was. The items were low dollar items so I was upset but I let it slide as it wasn't worth my time chasing them down for this amount. Fast forward to to this month. I paid a membership fee (which is absolutely ridiculous as it's just a money grab. They can say it's to "avoid the riff raff" or whatever they like but what makes them think riff raff won't pay their membership fees??? Such a terrible excuse and it does not help sellers as you want the MOST eyes on products for your sellers, not less). In any case, the estate auction was entirely online. You bid on items and the final sale was via a live online sale. In this sale, I purchased 3 bins full of purses. They described the purses as in good condition but needed some cleaning. I am all for taking a chance so I purchased all three totes. Upon pick up, I realized that NONE of the purses were in good condition. Rather they were all extremely dry rotted and flaking apart. Not a little, but severly where the flakiness was over everything. It was clear these should have been put in the garbage, not in the sale. I contacted them about the problem and said I was shocked that they would not have thrown these items out as they were unfit for sale, but of course no response. I am a full time reseller, I have been to dozens of different auctions and this is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. I tried to give them multiple chances but they are only about the money, customer service and experience is not their priority. If I ran MY business like this, I would have no customers. They definitely will never see my business again....a shame because I buy items frequently as this is my full time job."
