"I left crying. The manager Dana was soooo mean and nasty to me. I own a school and I have been shopping for different banks my first visit was phenomenal I met jazz and Moe and they both gave me their business cards and I was ecstatic to come back to open up an account with them. However on this particular day the energy and the experience was completely different. Dana balled her face up at me as soon as I approach the counter, she assumed I had no clue what I was talking about and she assumed that the transaction I was trying to make I was unable to make and she made this inference without all of the data. I knew that this transaction was possible because jazz and Moe helped me during my last visit. I own a art school so I tend to come into places looking like a art teacher and sometimes that may appear a little bit ruggish, and you can tell that I was profiled immediately. I shouldn't have to figure out why I was being spoken to in the manner. It's very unfair because as soon as I was giving her the same energy she was giving me she started to tell me that she can decline my service.. I began to feel helpless as if I could not defend myself verbally because she would not take my money to pay my rent. For her to use her position of authority as a manager and not care about how she was making me feel was unprofessional and definitely insensitive. Because her energy was so negative I wanted to work with jazz which was another bank teller, so before I put myself on Dana level I chose to remove myself and wait in the back of the line. As I was waiting in the back of the line, another customer comes up behind me she states she likes my jacket (one that I made) in the midst of her telling me she likes my jacket she touches me while telling me that. This of course made me a little frustrated and extremely uncomfortable. So as I wait my turn and approach the counter Dana is again the only one available. As I express my uncomfortability to her because one of her other customers has touched me in the bank that she is managing. She proceeds to tell me that I can go somewhere else. Now I don't know about anyone else, but this situation could have been handled with consideracy and compassion. My experience had nothing to do with the establishment it had nothing to do with jazz or mow who gave me an excellent experience before. Dana is very negative and her communication and conflict resolution skills are below average."
"I called customer service for my mother twice about not getting her statements. After being told she would start getting them now, she didn’t. Took her to the Seminole Branch, same story. Once again I put my mother and her wheelchair in my car. We went to the Eagles Park Branch. I’m so glad we got Mohamed. He promised he would do everything he could to help us. He had great suggestions and was so kind and helpful to my 93 year old mother."
"I’ve been using this bank since it was a BB&T, and never had any problems. But when they promote that they have “no overdraft fees” only for me to be hit with a $30 overdraft fee, it makes me lose all my trust. Don’t trust this bank."
"DO NOT BANK WITH THIS INSTITUTION! Just like 99% of these big financial institutions "you" the customer and your money. are used for their profit amd thier profit only. customer service is absolutely the worst beyond terrible. BB&T and SunTrust were involved in illegal business practices and the age old shell game began and in 2019 surprise a new name was created and Truist started screwing customers over. The billions of dollars they make off hidden fees is unethical and borderline illegal. Americans need to stop putting money into these fly by night untrustworthy so called banks."
