Located at 7373 Perkins Rd, Baton Rouge, LA 70808, Dr. Joshua M. Pitre offers top-notch medical care with a focus on dermatology and internal medicine. A native of Lafayette, Louisiana, Dr. Pitre is a distinguished alumnus of Louisiana State University (LSU), where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in 2011. He went on to achieve his Medical Degree from LSU Health and Science Center in Shreveport, graduating with the highest overall GPA in 2016 and earning a Research Distinction Honor in 2015.
Dr. Pitre completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the LSU Health and Science Center in Baton Rouge in 2017, followed by a residency in Dermatology at the LSU Health and Science Center in New Orleans in 2020, where he proudly served as Chief Resident in 2019.
Deeply committed to the Baton Rouge community, Dr. Pitre serves as an Alumni Advisor for the Sigma Nu Fraternity – Phi Chapter and is an active parishioner at St. Aloysius Catholic Church. He also dedicates time to volunteering at St. Aloysius School. Outside of his practice, Dr. Pitre enjoys spending time with his wife, Rachel, and their two children. His hobbies include archery, hunting, fishing, hiking, gardening, cheering for LSU sports, and cooking.
