"I can’t say enough good things about this place to do it justice. The people working at this non-profit are so compassionate, professional and welcoming. My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer and a neighbor mentioned Cancer Services of Greater Baton Rouge to me before we met our oncology social worker. So I just wondered into this place one afternoon. I was expecting to be told I needed an appointment. But no! They acted as if they’d been expecting me. They gave me the best and most helpful information on activities ranging from counseling services, fitness, group meetings and a wealth of other knowledge. They have this whole “coping with cancer” thing down. It wasn’t sad or depressing either. And they have a wig room!!! I am only covering a fraction of what this nonprofit offers. ** if you are reading this review, I can only assume you or a loved one has been diagnosed with cancer. I know I’m just a stranger on the Internet, but this stranger wants you to know that you aren’t alone. Please go check this place out- i promise you will be in a better headspace once you do.**"
