"Couldn't get meds right. Their source of helping us was 16 hours in front of the TV. Groups were awful with no one on one therapy. Sent me to ER because they refused to give my insulin before the doctor called. By the time I got to the ER my blood sugar was over 600! Then I had to find away back, and they had already nervously discharged me. DONT RECCOMEND AT ALL!!!"
"Staff is very disrespectful. They are on a power trip . No phone uses. For emergency only .couldn't call my family for two days. I wasn't giving proper medication. Didn't receive proper counseling .. didnt have a moment to speak with phycologist. They put you on a telamed.call that last a second. Not properly treated .it's like a prison. Men and women are on the same unit together. Didn't have shower curtains for first week and they knew about this issue. Had to use my blanket to stop water from over flooding into our room. When I asked for another blanket I was told there wasn't any. Went a day and a half with out a blanket. Don't rcall name of tech.he was on a power trip. Acted like everyone was blow him .very mean and refused service . This place need to be checked out before someone ends up very hurt . Not a good place to send your family members to .."
"My partner voluntarily admitted themselves to this facility about a week ago. In that time they have yet to provide the correct dosage of essential medication. The facility is loud and overstimulating because the TV is on 16 hours a day, the food is awful, and the water is so undrinkable that patients survive off bottled water brought in from the outside. Communication is terrible. Any calls from the outside get transferred from the front desk receptionist to a voicemail that no one checks. The only contact I've had from my partner is when they call me, and since the whole facility shares two phone lines, our conversations get constantly interrupted by other people trying to dial out. My brief talk with the on-site therapist didn't instill much confidence. The person in charge of medication is on a power trip. The only people who are actually nice and do their job are the front facing staff, which unfortunately masks the incapability and negligence of the other staff. This is not a safe place for someone in a vulnerable head space or with delicate sensory balance. It's a prison masquerading as a mental health facility."
"I wish I could post a zero star rating. My family member was there for three weeks. Every time I visited my my loved one seemed overly drugged. I only ever got 3 calls returned after leaving multiple messages over the weeks. On my last visit I begged for someone to call me back, they said I should hear from someone the next day. The next day I got a call at 445pm telling me that my loved one was being discharged. I asked to speak with my family member, they put me on hold and came back and told me she had already left. I couldn't reach my family member for several hours after the alleged discharge. When I made contact with my loved one, the ambulance service parked her in a wheelchair inside of there apartment with the door left ajar. My loved one was completely unresponsive and had to go to the ER. Voyages discharged her with a severe case of undiagnosed pneumonia. She wound up in the ICU on a ventilator. BTW, we still don't know where her glasses are. Once I was able to speak with my family member she didn't recall being discharged or consulted. She believes that she was sent out unconscious. If you care about your loved ones well being AVOID this place at all costs."
"One star is not a low enough rating for this place. I brought my mother on the recommendation of a group who assists families like mine who are desperate for help with a family member suffering from extreme dementia. I brought my mother in hopes of finding help but left worse off than when we came seeking their help. Nurse “Jane” is one of the most condescending and heartless people I have ever met in my life. She is definitely not the quality of person I expected and needed at this desperate time. She took my mother into a waiting room and had a 5 minute conversation with her. She then had my brother and me join the two of them in the room. We sat down and she turned to me and asked why we were there. With my mother in the same room, I explained in detail the issues we have been dealing with for the past 6 months. I laid out every incident of my mother’s dementia and paranoia…. Constant hallucinations and voices, paranoia of neighbors bugging her rooms with listening and video devices, voices of people telling her family members were murdering other family members, conversations with people who are not in the room and many more. This made my mother quite angry. She said I was telling lies and that I just wanted her committed to get rid of her. It was very difficult to explain all of these incidents with my mother in the room as I knew it would make her hate me. That is exactly what it did. Once I had laid everything bare, Nurse “Jane” excused herself from the room to speak with the Doctor. She returned to tell me the Doctor will not admit her to the facility because she was not a danger to herself or others unless my mother willingly agreed to be admitted. At this point my mother was so angry and felt so betrayed by me that she refused to be admitted. Nurse “Jane” had the nerve to say to me as we were escorted out of the room to come back if things get worse. I assure you I would not let Nurse “Jane”, or the Dr. who didn’t even come in the room to meet us, near my dog much less my mother. I can’t imagine having a worse experience in a time of greater need than we experienced. If you go to this place for help and Nurse “Jane” greets you, I suggest you take your loved one by the hand and walk out the door as quickly as possible before she destroys your life."
