"Staff are great. The office girls always try to accommodate your requests. The doctor not so great. He's not a bad doctor he just seems to be in a crappy mood alot and doesn't let you be proactive in your care. But he's the only local diabetes specialist."

"Yes, very to get a hold of. Check the hours. Otsuka is very nice. I don't get why IEHP was only going to allow 2 appts with him at first... How does that help? I suggested a test for something and, no offense, he is a bit hard to understand. (Especially with a mask on otherwise I could see his mouth.) Three tests for it. But the nurse like laughed when I asked if she could write them down since two had to be done from home a certain way. So I looked it up online and I hope to do them right. I had to call the lab to find out where to get things I needed. Ridiculous! Why did i have to do that?? And their hold music is so repetitive it'll drive you crazy!!"

"Haven’t been able to get through for my first appointment . Got a referral a month ago. I think I’ll have to drive from Barstow just to make an appointment. Not really looking forward to it , since there seems to be no genuine care so far."

"My father has him as a Dr for his diabetes and is so unpleasant to know that he is never able to contact his Dr. We literally leave a message almost daily and they're had not been a response what so ever, is there a way to communicate with a human being rather than a machine please I need his medications and to be seen , if someone from the administrative department sees the reviews please have them contact us thank you. I would really appreciate for your office to get back to us!!!!"

"First it was a act of god to contact his office since for days no one would answer the phone and their mailbox was full so I could not leave a message. Finally a friend who was a patient their was at his appointment was able to get me in contact with them. The first appointment was more than 5 weeks away. I finally had my appointment and was just given a order for blood work and told the doctor will call in you medication. After a month and no word I had to endure the same 20 phone calls trying to get ahold of them and when I finally did was told someone will call me with in 48 hours. You guessed it no call. When I called back a week later I was dismissed with my bloodwork was normal and they couldn’t help me . Madding!"
