"I opened an account with this bank in 1991 when I moved to Gulf Breeze and have continued to be a BOA customer after my move to Tennessee with a new job. My parents moved to Florida while I lived here and opened an account with this bank. They were unpleased and moved to another bank due to some altercation they felt was unreasonable. Today, I called and explained that I was a customer of BOA and needed to get some papers notarized for my parents. They told me that my parents would have to be customers of BOA to have their signatures notarized. Really? To witness signatures when they have valid drivers license, passports, etc? I guess I'll drive my elderly parents farther away to their bank (GB branch is closed so we'll have to go to Pcola) with my father only 3 weeks out from a big back surgery. Thanks BOA for nothing. I've stayed with BOA because I mostly do on-linebanking and it's easier not to change, but now I'm not so sure....."

"Has to be the most sorry excuse for a bank. One star is too much but I could not leave none. When you need to use your card it won't work .the. The bank cannot override an computer that is in error. They are closing branches and the ones that are open are full of angry people waiting forever in line. Customer service blows. Other than that I highly recommend them. I'm not referring to the staff at this bank they are great . I'm talking about the company they work for."
