"Dr Khan is a compassionate & caring Dr. with knowledge of CSF leaks and a member of the foundation that is researching treatments for a cure to this silent condition that plaques many who have been dismissed or misdiagnosed. I recommend you put your trust in him and he will try and help you."
"I wish I could agree with these other reviews, however my experience was rather awful. I began seeing Dr. Khan after I started having partial and tonic clonic seizures to which he ordered multiple tests to be done. The tests came back normal and because of that he’s seemingly abandoning me as a patient, despite me having another major seizure about 2 months ago- to which he still has not gotten back to me about! Every time I contact his office, they inform me he is “out of the office,” and he will return my message when he comes back, but he never does. Not one person in that office seems to feel an urgency regarding my medical issues. Dr. Khan does not care about his patients, and that was made VERY clear to me in these past few months. Update: I have since had another severe seizure (amongst about another 30 partials), this time a cluster seizure, lasting over 40 minutes, to which I nearly died from (ears purple, no breathing, no consciousness for over 5 hours, etc.). I have since switched doctors, as I was admitted to the hospital for a few days, and they assigned me a new neurologist. It was quickly and easily determined that I have epilepsy and my new doctor, Dr. Eady, was very thorough, thoughtful, kind, and respectful. She ordered the same tests Dr. Khan had ordered, which had the same, normal results. However, it was obvious (considering I’ve had hundreds of seizures, 4 now being grand mal) that I have epilepsy. I was quickly put on Keppra and a variety of vitamins and supplements to maintain my health and homeostasis, and I could not be more grateful. Dr. Khan should be fired for negligence and I am so grateful I found another doctor who not only cares, but may have saved my life, which Dr. Khan, I would say, did not care about and almost ended. I never write reviews and I find myself to be a forgiving and kind person, but after the fear and terror this put me and my loved ones through, I thought it was my responsibility to warn others of the danger this so called doctor can pose on others’ health and life."
"Dr. Khan takes his time to explain diagnoses, procedures, medications and referrals thoroughly. I have had 3 other neurologists on the Westbank that were closer to my home that I went to previously. I have been trying to find out what was wrong with me since 2009 and had to give up my career as a Registered Nurse in 2016 due to my disability. Finally, I found a doctor who was the "right fit" and willing to put his patient first. I thoroughly recommend Dr. Khan to anyone looking for a patient, kind neurologist who will try to help you find the answers you are looking for."
"Everything was Great!! Dr. Khan is Great!! The only thing I miss was seeing the smiles on the faces that were covered by masks lol, also seeing my weight but other than that my experience was Grand the space was awesome and the timing was great also!"
"Beyond par, exceptional care. Informative, thorough, caring and gentle. The team at Oschner has a system that flows so smoothly it’s nothing like I’ve ever experienced before. It’s worth my hour and 15 minute drive to see my neurologist and MS team. Best care I’ve ever received."
