"Update: If you want to survive and live a healthy life DONT use this doctor. I wouldn't bring my dog here. Dr Miller has left the practice and this place is an absolute nightmare. I have worked in healthcare for 15 years. This is hands down one of if not the most poorly run offices I have ever encountered. Look at their responses to negative feedback in their reviews. You can tell a lot a out the character of a business by their response.to negative - justified - feedback. Totally unprofessional. Prior authorizations will take you weeks to have completed. To a point where you'll run out of your medication be forced to go over a month without it, almost end up in the hospital because of dehydration and still nothing. Phone calls, emails, voicemails all unreturned. I have had to be my own doctor and explain to them how my medication should be prescribed after I was forced to stop taking it because they couldn't complete a simple prior authorization. Why? Luci told me, "she can't wait on hold with Blue Cross" . I guess if you have Blue Cross don't bother being a patient - they don't have the time for you. These people are completely inept. To a point where I'm worried about the care I received here as a patient. Do not use this office. Why? There's a million endocrinologist offices who wont make you feel like they have better things to do with their time and most importantly you can find an office full of people who might actually fulfill the responsibilities of their role. People who might actually care and get their job done. You will not find that at Elite Diabetes. Nothing "Elite" about it except the attitude they take when it comes to how valuable their time is compared to anyone else's. Dr. Miller is very nice. She's leaving the practice. Now there's definitely no reason to use this office."

"My brilliant PCP referred me to ELITE.ENDOCRINE for a complex case since a Uhealth endocrine doctor couldn't help me. this practice exceeded my exceptions and have expertise beyond University of Miami. My appointment was scheduled with a doctor Angela Richter who just joint this practice. Dr Angela Richter did a deep-dive right away into my complex case and helped me already with the 1st visit more than Uhealth Endocrine Specialist could not do over a year. I highly recommend Elite Diabetes and Endocrine Specialists practice. Dr Angela Richter is a great addition to their specialists. Please, just ignore the lower star reviews. I found the office easily based on their website direction to park in the back of the South building. adding a recommendation to the office management a month after my 5* review: it is extremely hard to reach anyone over the phone due to limited opening hours: the patient portal could be enhanced with direct appointment scheduling if the doctors' availability would be linked to the portal, so patients could pick a date/timeslot when their doctor shows availability. this would be more efficient and less expensive over time than hiring a scheduling person with extended work hours and a different lunch break. also, please enable, 2 way messaging on the patent portal, I can receive my doctor messages, but as a patient, I cannot message back."
