"My nurse Nina was amazing they made me very comfortable with the whole process was easy and not busy! They got me in fast!"
"Dr. Robert Curtis and his team (nurse Wendy, Nadine and front desk Morgan) are the best. My experience there was fantastic. They are very caring, professional and knowledgeable. Today I went to Total Point Emergency Center at McKinney for my sudden and severe headache and ear infection. I assumed my Medicare plus supplement health insurance plans would be accepted in any emergency room, so I didn't do any check before going to Total Point. My fault! Even though, Dr. Curtis and his team at Total Point McKinney still gave me a thoroughly check-up and consultation. I am so grateful to them. They are the best medical team. My experience there will be a life-time memory for me. I will refer Total Point Emergency Center McKinney to my family and friends."
"Parents, do NOT bring your children here. Even if there is no other person in the building, and you are the only patient, you could end up with a doctor who is a complete sarcastic jerk and a waste of time. Incase you think I’m a karen, I only write 1 review a year or so. I couldn’t not leave a review knowing other moms are looking for places to bring their kids in emergency. I brought in my child who was bleeding and in excruciating pain. He fell on something rough, in the dark, and was bruised. I have never seen him so hurt, and for peace of mind wanted someone professional to tell me what to do. The doctor didn’t even listen to the story, told him to get up and jump as hard as he could on his foot. My child had calmed down a bit at this point, but this sent him into more excruciating pain and I was weirded out, wondering if this is actually a medial thing to do. Wouldn’t a reputable person ask the child to TRY WALKING before demanding they jump as hard as possible? It got worse. The doctor, not in a friendly “talking to a kid voice” but in a sarcastic, rude tone, gave him a bandaid and basically told us his kid gets hurt all the time. OK great, I’m not a doctor, and my kid only scraped his knee once, so I literately didn’t know what to do for the type of pain that was not allowing him to fall asleep. I tried to ask follow up questions to pry ANYTHING of use… Okay, if it’s not that bad, when will swelling go down? Continue icing or change to heat? He has soccer in the morning, should he go even if he’s better? I genuinely needed answers to these questions and didn’t know, that’s why I went. These aren't usually questions you have to force a doctor, in an empty facility, who you're paying, to answer... The dr was so rude and dismissive to everything I asked. The Dr completely changed his tune when I let him know his communication style wasn’t working for me and I didn’t feel like he was actively trying to help. That I was asking questions and getting rude answers. He literately SNAPPED OUT OF IT and pretended he was being helpful before. Like a psycho. I am a college graduate who owns a business, so I would like to think I'm not an idiot. But I do not have any medical training and my child doesn’t get hurt often, so I don’t know what to do but react like a mom who hears their child screaming in excruciating pain. In other reviews I see people have experienced this jerk, so if you are desperate to go, I’d make sure “Dr K” is NOT on duty that night. I hope the owners of the facility address this. I went a few months ago and had the most kind male doctor, Dr. M who was lovely with my child. I will not go back as Dr. Google is far more informative than the care I received here... and will make sure to direct people in my moms group away from this location. Sorry this was long but hope this helps someone."
"My experience at this particular emergency center was fantastic. Ronnie and Kerri were my nurses and both were kind and helpful. Dr. Gabriel Bruffy was my physician and listened to my needs and was able to assist me. I will go back if I ever need help again!"
"My visits to Total Point ER in McKinney were amazing! I went in for a cyst removal and had to go in 4 times which included follow ups, all within a 2 week period. In those visits, 3 different doctors attended to me and did an amazing job. The nursing staff went above and beyond to make sure I was feeling comfortable and doing well. One of the nurses even went out of their way and ordered me food after over hearing I didn’t eat all day. There wasn’t a moment where I didn’t feel comfortable. HIGHLY recommend, and would definitely go back if I had any emergency!"
