"My daughter and I stopped in to shop for eye glasses for her. Not one person asked if they could help us or if we needed anything. And all 3 people working the area had NO customers. They just looked at us, then looked back down at their computer. You'd think that they would want to make a sale or at least see how they could help two potential customers (who are already wearing very nice glasses btw). High end glasses with low end service."

"The staff in the optical gallery are rude and snooty. Poor communication from the optometrists. I have seen both Drs Dolven and Hutchins. I placed multiple phone calls to the Drs regarding questions about my eye care. None of my calls were returned. I am a physician and if James Eyecare would treat me in this manner, I can only imagine how they might treat non medical professionals. I went to another optometrist and on the first visit they picked up on an issue with my eyes that neither Dr Dolven or Hutchins had ever noted or discussed with me. I would never recommend James Evecare to anyone."

"After moving to Little Rock, I needed to find an eye doctor! I’ve had two visits with Dr. Julie & they have both been great. She explains everything well & insures that I have all of my questions answered. The front desk is helpful when going over insurance benefits and was quick to send me my prescription when I needed to order more contacts."

"Optometry doctors and clinical staff are fine—good service. Good selection of eyeglass frames. But it is very frustrating to call them on phone for anything other than to schedule an appointment. If you need to call to order new contact lenses or about your bill—you will almost certainly not get the call picked up by anyone and will be diverted to a messaging system. They will call you back or text a response usually in a day or two. That may be fine if you have time to wait that long—but if you need to ask a question or want to prepay for contact order so your teenager can pick up their order that day—not so much. Its hard to believe that they just never have time to take phone calls in real time—except to schedule you a future appointment."
