"He performed rotator cup surgery and total knee replacement on my wife, extremely personable, caring, and caring he even took his personal time and checked on her in the hospital after a unrelated procedure with her and even sent his nurse to check on her totally unrelated to his work that impressed me the most. I am glad to know he's working at the v.a. clinic now our vets are in extremely good hands if I should need him in the future I will definitely request him"

"This is the first time seeing Dr. DeJong. I took my 85 year old mom in to see him because she fell 3 weeks ago and fractured her 5th metacarpal (pinky finger bone). She had only been seen by the ER doctor before this. Three other Orthopedic doctors denied the referral sent by her primary doctor without any explanation as to why. It has taken me 3 weeks to find this godsend of a doctor. Dr. DeJong is VERY personable and friendly. He doesn't hurry you along so he can get to the "next" patient. He is truly a caring individual. All of his staff are also very friendly and courteous. I would mention them all by name but as this is our first time being there I don't remember all of them. Highly recommend seeing Dr. DeJong if you're in need of an Orthopedic Dr."

"I have been treated by Dr. DeJong for about 2 years. I disagree with the gentleman in one of the reviews who related a negative experience. From my experience with Dr. Dejong, he has been just great. I have referred my family and friends to him. He listens and he does not run his office like a cattle call like some physicians. I like him too, because he is very personable and he seems like he genuinely cares about you as his patient. His P.A. , Pam, is also really good and very professional. I highly recommend Dr. Dejong and I will be seeing him again."

"Find another doctor who respects your time and does not overbook patients like United Airlines. The facts are: I had an appointment on a Tuesday at 10 a.m. and the office asked me to arrive 30 minutes early to fill out a massive stack of forms. By 10:30 a.m. when I still had not seen the doctor, I approached the receptionist to tell them I had to leave. The receptionist said I was next in line of the nearly 10 people in the waiting room - but that I had to wait another 15 minutes for a room to open up. "15 minutes" in a doctor's office really means 30+ minutes. I mean, how can a doctor be 45 minutes behind at only 10 a.m. in the morning?
